    The 20th Annual Scarecrow Competition
      Deadline for competition registration.

      • Friday, September 24 thru Sunday,   September 26: Contestants are notified as
to the location of their scarecrows and

erect them at appointed locations in the                     Stony Brook Village Center.

       Judging begins Sunday at noon.

• Sunday, September 26 - Sunday,

October 24: Public judges entries by

casting ballots available in the Stony

Brook Village Center stores.

• Wednesday, October 27:
Winners will be notified by 5:00 pm.

• Sunday, October 31: Hallow

Festival 2:00 p.m. in Inner Court: Prizes

are awarded to winners. Immediately following the ceremony they will be photographed with their sponsors

and scarecrows.

• 3:00 p.m. in Inner Court: Dance

exhibition by Spotlight Dance

Academy, followed by the Children’s Costume Parade
